Man Charged In Yung Teddy Murder

A man named Curley Dean Holden has been accused of murdering aspiring Atlanta rapper Yung Teddy earlier this month. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Holden is believed to have shot and killed Teddy, born Justin Mitchell, as two women witnessed the incident. The arrest warrant states that "the accused pointed the handgun in the direction of Mr. Mitchell and fired several times."

Holden reportedly forced his way into Mitchell's home, threatening both women with his weapon before shooting Mitchell.

Holden has been on the run for three weeks. He's been incarcerated twice. He was released in August 2012 after serving 18 months for unspecified drug charges and was arrested for making terroristic threats on January 23rd. He allegedly told someone at a barbecue, "I want to break your jaw and be happy," while gripping a handgun in his waistband.
