Alicia Keys Lands New Position

Superstar singer Alicia Keys has been named the Global Creative Director for BlackBerry. The position is described as designed to "help inspire the future." The announcement was made today (January 30th.)

The smartphone manufacturer also launched a new operating system as well as two new devices.

Blackberry has seen a drop in popularity to Apple and Android. Many industry experts believe that its new Blackberry 10 is the company's best, and possibly last, attempt to recover some of its market share.
