Superproducer Signs With Jay-Z's Label

Hitmaking superproducer Timbaland has joined Roc Nation.

While the specifics have yet to be revealed, Timbo is reportedly officially a part of Jay-Z's imprint. The news is the latest in a series of events that point to a resurgent 2013 for the veteran producer.

He recently released his first collaboration with pop superstar Justin Timberlake, "Suit & Tie," which is slated to be featured on Timberlake's upcoming The 20/20 Experience, due later this year and entirely produced by Tim. He also joined 50 Cent's SMS Audio brand in an executive role.

"'And I Won't Surrender It With Beats By TIMBALAND' 01.30.2013 Roc Nation welcomes TIMBALAND to the family.," a post on Jay-Z's Life + Times site reads along with a photo of the stars together in a recording studio.
