J. Period Named Nets' Music Supervisor

J. Period has been named music supervisor for the Brooklyn Nets. The DJ told Rolling Stone that he has been working with the team since the beginning of the NBA season back in November. He created the team's theme song, "Brooklyn: Something to Lean On" with John Forte.

"Brooklyn is one of the meccas of Hip Hop," said J. Period. "The idea was that it should be a party."

,p> "For me, it had to be more than just a jingle," added Forte. "This had to be an anthem."

J. Period has also worked on remixes for various songs for Barclays Center.
