Rapper Reveals the Origin of ''21 Questions''

50 Cent exploded onto the hip-hop scene with a harrowing backstory (he'd been shot 9 times) a reputation for confrontation (his first major single was called "How To Rob") and a hardcore East Coast gangsta persona. But the superstar revealed that it was his fellow Queens native LL Cool J who inspired him to record his first romantic track.

"I really made that record because I was in a car and LL Cool J came on," he revealed to MTV.

"The girl next to me was all into it," 50 explained. "It was a soft record, but she was so into the record that I said, 'I want to make something that makes [girls] respond like that to me.'"
