Nas believes that hip-hop beefs are capable of going too far. Having been involved in verbal wars with artists like 2Pac, Jay-Z and Nature, the Queens-born rhymer has seen his fair share of disputes in the industry.

And he said that rappers don't apologize.

"No," he told talk show host Chelsea Handler, with a laugh. "Once you say it, you've got to ride with it. You know? You gotta be true. You know, hip-hop is really standoff, it's really competitive, it's really about who's number one all the time and sometimes it gets out of hand. Definitely. Yeah."
