Jurassic 5 Member To Showcase His Paintings In L.A.

Veteran lyricist and Jurassic 5 co-founder Chali 2na has made quite a name for himself a s painter. He will be showcasing his talent at an exhibition tonight (February 15th) in Los Angeles' Mr. MusicHead Gallery.

He has painted portraits of musicians such as James Brown, and more conceptual pieces.

Though Jurassic 5 broke up in 2007, Chali has not put music on the back-burner. He's released numerous solo projects over the past five years, (he dropped the EP Against the Current last year) as well as honing his skills in the world of fine art.

Incidentally, the group has confirmed that they will be reuniting at this year's Coachella Festival.
