Future Defends Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne's "beat the p***y up like Emmett Till" line from Future's "Karate Chop" remix has been subject of controversy and criticism over the past week. In an interview with MTV, Future spoke up about the lyric and said that Wayne never meant for it to Be offensive.

"He had no bad intentions, [he] wasn't even thinking about it like that," Future said. "It was used in a different way but I understand the work... at the end of the day we going to move on from it and find a way to build."

Wayne has been criticized by Till's family, musicians like Stevie Wonder and several blogs and journalists. Epic Records apologized for the song, which was deemed an "unauthorized" remix.
