Cash Money Sued Over Bow Wow Song

A song by Bow Wow has led to yet another lawsuit aimed at Cash Money Records. R&B singer Robert Poindexter of the Persuaders (of "Thin Line Between Love & Hate" fame) is suing the label over a sample used in Bow Wow's 2010 track "Still Ballin.'"

Poindexter claims the song illegally uses the Persuaders' "Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out.)"

According to TMZ, Poindexter says that Cash Money Records never sought his permission for use of the song, which was an R&B hit back in 1972.

Cash Money has faced several high-profile lawsuits over the past couple of years, most of which have come from producers and songwriters claiming that they are owed royalties from the label.
