Free tickets to Tyler, the Creator's first solo show led to police in Boulder, CO being called out to the Fox Theatre to address an unruly crowd of fans in what was described as a riot-like atmosphere. The tickets were offered on a first-come/first-serve basis and the crowd became aggressive after about three hours.
AllHipHop reports that a Jimmy Johns manager claims an intoxicated fan assaulted him as he tried to clear a path for his customers.
However, according to Boulder police spokeswoman Kim Kobel, no one else was assaulted.
Tyler tried to diffuse the hostility via Twitter.
"TWO SHOWS TONIGHT SO EVERYONE CAN COME GUYS," he tweeted.
