Bushwick Bill Facing Deportation

Rapper Bushwick Bill is facing possible deportation to his homeland of Jamaica. The rapper was in Atlanta Immigration Court on July 15th. Bushwick, born Richard Shaw, was allegedly arrested and charged with “soliciting;” but it has not been confirmed.

After missing VH1 Hip Hop Honors' "Dirty South" Tribute last month, questions were raised in the hip hop community about Bill's immigration status. Bushwick was supposed to take part in a tribute to Rap-A-Lot Records founder J Prince. Rap-A-Lot was home to Bill's legendary group the Geto Boys.
