Trae Tha Truth Drops Lawsuit

According to Houston’s Fox 26, both Trae Tha Truth and Houston's KBXX 97.9 The Box have agreed to walk away from the lawsuit, although no settlement between the opposing parties was reached. Trae’s music was pulled from the Houston hip-hop station after an on-air argument between the rapper and host Nnete Inyangumia over who was responsible for a July 2009 shooting after “Trae Day” that left eight people wounded.

Trae Tha Truth had filed a lawsuit against Radio One, KBXX’s general manager Doug Abernathy, program manager Terri Thomas and personality Nnete Inyangumia in May, accusing KBXX of causing damages to his reputation, mental suffering, lost performance revenue, royalties and other damages.
